Joyce Evelyn Tew Crandall

Joyce Evelyn Tew Crandall age 78, of Niceville, Florida passed away June 8, 2024.  She was born in Panama City, Florida on June 17, 1945.  Joyce was an Okaloosa County school teacher for over 20 years.  She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Robert Crandall; parents, Lorenza and Toy Tew; brothers, Gerald Tew, Herbert Tew, Carl Tew, A.J. (Rocky) Tew, Lorenza Tew Jr. and Jimmy Tew.

Joyce is survived by many nieces, nephews, and others who considered her a grandma.  She was loved dearly by all. 

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of The Manor at Bluewater Bay and the nurses and staff of Emerald Coast Hospice Care.  We appreciate the love, care and respect Joyce was treated with always.  She was constantly made to feel like a person, not just a job to be done. 

There will be a time of visitation held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 9am at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 10am.  Internment will take place in Lynn Haven Cemetery, Lynn Haven, FL at 1pm.
