Katherine "Kathy" Lila Parker

Katherine Lila Parker, 72, passed away on March 9, 2025. She was born on September 7, 1952, to Clifford and Emma Keck in Marshall, Michigan.

Katherine earned her associate degree in surgical technology and spent her career in the medical field. She worked as a surgical technologist before becoming a college medical instructor, where she dedicated years to helping others learn and grow in healthcare.

Katherine is survived by her loving husband, Carl Parker, her daughter Jennifer Zimmer, and three grandchildren.

A private celebration of life for family and close friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Kathy was a very outgoing person who loved meeting new people and made numerous friends. She always showed kindness to others and a willingness to help them at any time of need. Her absence has left a huge hole in the hearts of her family, and she will be missed by all that knew her. May her soul rest in eternity with God.
