The end of her life here on earth will not extinguish Kay's light. She has passed on the torch to three more generations. May we always live in a way that honors her memory.
When we volunteer to help, we will remember the many years she dedicated to the Church, Visionaires, and Sand and Spur.
When we are listening to someone's problems we will remember how she never turned away from a hurting heart. Whether family or stranger, she would hear someone's story and make them feel understood.
When we prepare meals for friends and family we will remember how many people she blessed with her good humor and endless hospitality.
When we are tired we will remember how she persevered.
Kay will be sorely missed by her family and many in the community.
Our mother's memorial service will be this Friday, the 20th of May, at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be held at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Niceville, Florida. The funeral home is Heritage Gardens.
