Keith Stafford, 74, of Niceville, Florida, passed away on January 1, 2026. He was born on December 28, 1951 in Salisbury, North Carolina to Henry and Lila Stafford. Keith graduated from Spotsylvania High School in 1970 and went on to study ancient languages at the University of Richmond. Following his studies, he commissioned into the United States Army, where he served honorably for 24 years as a Military Intelligence Office and Aviator, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
After retiring from the military, Keith continued his lifelong passion for education by teaching Latin at Niceville High School for 16 years. A natural comedian, Keith was known for his sharp wit, love of learning, and passion for traveling the world. He touched countless lives through his service, teaching, and humor.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lila Stafford. He is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte; daughters Jennifer and Suzanne; sons-in-law Derek and Rob; grandchildren Sydney, Mason, Merit, Maguire, and Millie; and siblings Rebecca, Michael, Dianne, Tom, and Jeff.
