Kelly Denise Sirmans Alley, age 60, took her flight home on Monday, March 18, 2024, in Loganville, Georgia.
She was born in Jacksonville, Florida. Kelly came into this world unexpectedly on May 7, 1963, weighing 3 pounds and 11 ounces. Her parents were Julia Hope Register del Valle and Captain James Stanley Sirmans Jr., USN. As part of a Navy family and because of her husband's profession, she made fifteen major moves and lived in ten different states before settling in the Atlanta, Georgia area. As a young woman, she pursued her education at San Diego State University. Kelly would say her biggest achievement in life besides her walk with Jesus was giving birth to four precious daughters. Her sweet nature was exhibited in her relationships with friends and family. At the age of thirty, she developed serious health issues which would eventually take her life here on Earth. She never wavered from her belief where Jesus says in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Her family takes great comfort that she is now home with her Saviour and suffers no more.
Kelly is preceded in death by her father, Captain James Stanley Sirmans Jr., USN and her four grandparents, Louiella and James Stanley Sirmans, James Burgess Register and Burnice Louise Bailey. She is survived by her husband, Nathan Eugene Alley (Loganville, GA); her children, Amanda Brittany Fowler (Alpharetta, GA), Alyssa Courtney Martin (Carlsbad, CA), Jessica Michelle (Knoxville, TN), and Katie Ann Alley (Columbus, GA); her mother, Julia Register del Valle and step-father, Ulpiano F. del Valle (Niceville, FL); two grandchildren, Shiloh and Tristan Fowler; sister, Ashley Larisa Hoskins (John)(Fort Walton Beach, FL); niece, Meagan Nicole Pffaf (Roswell, GA); nephews, Aaron Robert Blue (Reno, NV) and Lance Cameron Blue (Austin, TX); stepbrothers, Juan Ricardo del Valle (Kingmen, AZ), Miquel Francisco del Valle (Escondido, CA), and Adam Gardiner (Pembroke Ontario Canada).
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church on Bayshore, Niceville, FL, on April 2, 2024, at 2:30 PM. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 PM with Dr. James Ross officiating. Heritage Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
