Kim Hoang Thi Wells

Kim Hoang Thi Wells, 77, of Niceville, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026. She was born on December 16, 1948, in Da Nang, Vietnam, to Nguyen Than and Nguyen Thi Khanh.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Nguyen Van San and Nguyen Van Nguyen Van; and her sisters, Nguyen Thi Lua and Nguyen Thi Hang.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Eddie Wells; her daughter, Angela; her grandchildren, Kaden, Jadzia, and Nahila; her brother, Nguyen Van Bao; her many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends; and her loving mother-in-law, Malenvia Wells.

Kim devoted 10 years of her life to being a stay-at-home mother, lovingly caring for her daughter, Angie. In 1992, she opened her own business, Kim Hoang Oriental Market, where she proudly served the community for 27 years. It was during this time that she met the love of her life, Eddie, in November 1996. They were married on March 17, 2000, and shared many wonderful years together.

Kim was a woman of faith and became a member of Niceville United Methodist Church in 1984. In 2016, she and Eddie began attending West Gate Chapel Services at Eglin Air Force Base.

Kim found great joy in cooking authentic Vietnamese cuisine, especially making her famous egg rolls. She also enjoyed attending Zumba classes at the Niceville Senior Center, where she loved staying active and catching up with friends. Above all, Kim treasured the people she loved and the time she spent making memories with family and friends.

Kim will be remembered for her loving heart, devotion to her family, strong faith, and the warmth she shared with those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

A homegoing service celebrating Kim’s life will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Gardens in Niceville, Florida.

May she rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus until that beautiful day when we meet again.
