Kristi S Gantenbein

Kristi Sue Gantenbein, 33, left earth to be with Jesus on September 28th, 2021. She was preceded in death by her older brother, Kalob Gantenbein and is survived by her mother Susan Gross, step-father Russell Gross, father Chris Gantenbein, step-mother Cori Gantenbein, sister Nicole Gross, brothers Joshua (Kenya) Gantenbein, Jordan Gantenbein and ChristianGantenbein to cherish her memory.  Kristi was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 30, 1988. At a very young age, her dream was to become a teacher. She graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and received the 2020-2021 “Teacher Of The Year” award from Freeport Elementary School in Walton County, Florida. Kristi had such deep love for developing and teaching young children. This love spanned from the students in her local classroom, the kids in her church’s children’s ministry, and to her niece, nephews and cousins. Kristi lived a life fully devoted to God. She always spread the unconditional love of Jesus everywhere she went. She was a faithful member of Generations United Church in Niceville, Florida. She was a Life Group leader and was passionate about helping others receive their freedom in Christ. Kristi will forever be loved by family and friends and remembered as the uplifting joy we all need in broken times.

We would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and medical staff who went above and beyond and worked many long hours to care for Kristi. We are forever grateful for your services. The family will be holding a memorial service for Kristi on Saturday, October 2, 2021, 2:00pm at Generations United Church, 108 FL-85, Niceville, FL 32578. Visitation will be at 1:30pm. 

Flowers may be delivered to Generations United Church on Saturday October 2, 2021 between 12:00pm-1:00pm.
