Leon H Jernigan sadly passed away on May 9th, 2022. Born June 16, 1943, in the small town of Ozark AL. He had a passion for many things, his work, his family, and barrel racing. But the thing he loved most was his family. He met Patricia in March 1972 and immediately knew he would make her his wife. They soon got married and had two children: Linda and Joann. Leon proved to be the most loving and caring father in the world. He always made time for his children and maintained an amazing relationship with them throughout their adulthood. Leon involved his children in everything he did. His world revolved around his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He never used harsh words with his children and taught them that kindness was the best virtue a person could have. Leon was not only a kindhearted father but also a wonderful husband and grandfather. His family will miss him dearly.
