Linda was welcomed into this world by her parents, Rachel and Richard Williams; big sisters, Norma Thomas and Nancy Couture. Then the beautiful love story began.
One day, she was walking down the street with her friends. She saw a neighbor in his front yard, stepped up on the curb, and planted a kiss on him, then kept walking. That young man was LaVerne Young, whom she went on to marry. They went on to have two children, Kirk Young and Tamara (Dan) Winchenbach.
Her favorite place was in her husband’s arms, dancing for 68 years.
She also leaves behind grandchildren, Amanda (Drew) Farris and Olivia (Branden) Parker, and Zavion; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Luke, Harper, and Callahan; many nieces and nephews; best friends, Virginia and Chris CrisaFulli, Marilyn and Eric Oest; her favorite musician, Kenny Jinright, who sang and played beautiful music that gave her such joy to dance through life; and extended children, John Frazier, Tillie Meeks, and Gary Lawson.
She brought so much love and joy to each and every one of us that we will continue to carry with us.
