Luciana (Lucy) Foote passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2022 at 94. Lucy was born in Kittery, Maine and was the daughter of Henry and Evelyn Drusendahl.
Lucy graduated Traip Academy, Kittery, Maine in 1945 and married her high school sweetheart, Hubert Foote, May 5, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia.
With Hubert being in the service (Navy and Air Force), Lucy had the opportunity to travel the world. Okinawa and England were her favorite places. All through her life, even at a very young age, she was an artist. She never stopped painting or entering art shows, and she won numerous awards. Even when she was on the road she painted and entered art shows. She was president of the Arts and Design Society and has stayed an active member ever since. She got interested in digital art for the past few years and has won awards for her digital paintings also. Lucy taught art in Okinawa and in Fort Walton Beach to private groups.
