Marilou Wrann Obituary

Marilou Gail Wrann died on Sunday, April 25th, 2021 at the age of 65. She was born April 18th 1956 in Manchester, CT, the third daughter to Robert and Lillian Osborn. Marilou grew up working her family farm which instilled the values of her family, her heritage which she loved to share, and an incredible work ethic. After living in many different places, she eventually settled in Niceville and called it home for 27 years. It was the perfect place for her to enjoy life and raise her family.

To know “Lou” was to love her. She never met a stranger and, with her nonjudgmental heart and warm smile, she made everyone know they had a place in her life. Her spirit radiated love, excitement and adventure and it showed with everything she did. Marilou had a passion for photography that allowed her to create beautiful snapshots of precious memories that her family and friends will forever cherish. She loved traveling and being outside in nature. Whether she was off on a jet-setting trip, hiking a trail in the mountains, enjoying Turkey Creek or spending the day at the beach, she just loved spending time and creating memories with the people she loved most. As an avid music lover she had her favorite soundtracks playing, dancing and singing her way through life; usually with at at least one of her seven grandkids, who affectionately call her Mimi. Marilou spent over 25 years enjoying a very successful career in real estate which combined her love of caring for people and photography. She had a knack for finding perfect homes for her clients and then turning clients into friends. Marilou was happiest spending time with her family and friends, but most of all with her three children and all of her grandchildren. Although she was lost too soon, there is comfort in knowing she lived her life to the very fullest.

Marilou is preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert and Lillian Osborn and sister Nancy Osborn. She is survived by her daughter Jessica, her husband Reid and their children - Cohen, Reese, Ellis and Knox, of Atlanta; her daughter Alysson, her significant other Brandon and children - Brody and Blakely, of Niceville; and her son Maxwell, his significant other Barbie and their daughter – Margot, of Ft Walton Beach. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Naomi and Larry Lacasse, their children and so many more nieces, nephews, family members and close friends.

A Celebration of Marilou’s Life will be held on Friday, May 7th at 850 the Wharf on Bayshore Drive in Niceville from 2-4p.m. All are welcome and please come as you are! In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Friends of the Emerald Coast State Parks at fecsp.org. Her children would also like to encourage you to donate blood if you are able, always live each day to the fullest and hug the people you love!
