Marilyn J (McCarthy) Azzarita beloved wife, mother, and grandmother which family and friends affectionately called Mickey, passed away peacefully June 9, 2022, on her 65th wedding anniversary. She was married to Nicholas J Azzarita, who resided in Niceville, Florida for almost 50 years. Mickey was born in Brooklyn, New York. Her family moved to Bound Brook, New Jersey in her early years where she attended elementary school through her high school years. She met her future husband Nicholas during her senior year, and they wed five years later June 9, 1957.
Mickey served over 20 years as a military spouse and endured the challenging times of the Vietnam War raising their children. She enjoyed word puzzles and was creative with arts and crafts hobbies including sewing, macramé, and painting.
Mickey is missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Nicholas, son Alan and wife Robin, daughter Cynthia, son Nicholas and wife Ann along with their children Nicholas, Michael, and Juliana.
