Marion J. Sims

Marion James Sims passed away on December 8, 2024 at the age of 78. He was born on September 20, 1946. He was the son of Marion and Vera Lee Sims.

Marion was married to Ollie Sims for 48 years, 1976-2024. Marion served in the military for 23 years, 1970 to 1993, as a Fabrication and Parachute Craftsman.

Marion was preceded in death by his parents and sister Vera Ann Scott.

Cherishing his memories are his wife Ollie Sims; son Damen J.A. Sims (Michelle); sister Helen Depp; brothers Lloyd Sims Sr. and Ricky Sims; sisters-in-law Judy Johnson (Olivett), Carolyn Johnson, and Benita Johnson; brothers-in-law George Campbell (Leisa) and Glen Campbell; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
