Marjorie R. Davis passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was 101 years old. She lived with her daughter-in-law, Evon, and her late son, Rick, who passed away after a long cancer battle. She spent the last three years at Eden Assisted Living and Memory Care in Crestview, FL. She was born in Santaquin, Utah on May 16, 1923, but lived in Salt Lake City while growing up. She was married to Walter Davis on June 12, 1945.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, 4 brothers, sister, and her husband. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She loved painting and created many floral and landscape paintings throughout Florida. She was very proud to be a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home, 2201 North Partin Drive, Niceville, FL 32578 with a visitation with family and friends an hour prior. Elders Kay and Roger O’Neal will officiate. The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to the staff of Eden Assisted Living and Memory Care in Crestview, FL, and the staff of Emerald Coast Hospice for their exceptional care.
