Mary Sue Henderson

Mary Sue Nicholson Henderson passed away in Niceville, Florida, on December 28, 2024.  Born on May 6, 1943, she was the youngest of 12 siblings. After the sudden loss of her birth parents when she was very young, Sue and her brother were lovingly adopted and raised in Kevil, Kentucky, by Edna and Thomas Leslie Nicholson.

A generous and loving mother and grandmother cherished dearly by her family and friends, she is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bob Nicholson, and is survived by her children, Kevin Estes, Leslie Estes (Marguerite), and Kendra Estes, and six grandchildren, Kevin Estes (Lindsey), Ryan Estes, John Estes (Anne Hollis), Katie Estes, Ella Mitchell, and Jack Mitchell.

The family wishes to thank her caregivers at Superior Residences of Niceville and Emerald Coast Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, January 18, at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville, Florida.
