Melba Jean Stribling went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2019. She was the daughter of Kathryn Genell and Harry Morris Davis born May 23, 1939 in Montgomery, Alabama. She was retired Civil Service. She enjoyed working for McDonald's. It was the best job she ever had. She was a long-time member of ABWA. She enjoyed Stagecrafters and teaching Sunday School.
Melba was preceded in death by her husband Donald L Stribling, sons Daryl and Alan, and brother Morris (Moe) Davis.
She is survived by her brother James (Ray) Davis and wife Alice, sisters-in-law Margie Davis and Martha Alverson, daughter-in-law Debbie Stribling, granddaughters Tarah Wheat, Casey Latchum, Mary Genell Stribling, great grandchildren Riley, Chloe, Navonte and Xander.
Melba's smile would brighten the room, and she never met a stranger. Melba will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
