Michael Leawn Sanders

Mike Sanders, 64, of Crestview, FL, passed away on March 26, 2024. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Patricia Sanders, his brother, Steven D. Sanders (Marcia Baris-Sanders), his sister, Melissa Sanders Faulk (James M. Faulk Jr.), his stepmother, Nadine Sanders, his stepbrother, Mike Smith, and his nephew, Christopher Sanders. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Leawn Dean Sanders.

Mike worshiped at the Niceville Assembly of God and loved our Lord with all his heart.  Mike had a successful career with the Horizons Adult Day Program working in the Parks Enclave.  Mike participated in the Special Olympics winning medals in swimming and he was a member of the Aktion Club bowling league. 

Known for his loving and kind nature, Mike was a true gentleman. He enjoyed various hobbies such as playing the guitar, singing country songs, watching Star Trek, Dukes of Hazard, and The Three Stooges. He had a passion for Elvis, Barbara Mandrel, Disney Princesses, Mickey Mouse, and Cinderella’s Castle. Mike loved going on cruises, flying first class, dining out, and was known as a ladies' man.
