Mollie Kendrick

Mollie Kendrick, 34, born 14 February 1990, passed away unexpectedly 9 September 2024. Wife to Jeff Kendrick, Daughter to Jeff and Debbie McLeod, Sister to Meghan, David, and brother in-law Scott. Loving Aunt to McKenzie and Evelynne, Granddaughter to Isabel Allen and the late Roderick David Allen and granddaughter to the late David and Hilda McLeod. Daughter-in-law to Kirk and Regina Kendrick.

Mollie was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, and lived in DeBary, Florida, until starting college at The University of West Florida in 2008.

Mollie excelled athletically, academically, in her career, and as a wife. Mollie attended Enterprise Elementary School, Deltona Middle School, and Deland High School where she graduated in 2008. Softball was Mollie’s favorite sport, her Seminole Warriors team were National Softball World Series Champions (2007), she was Volusia County Softball Athlete of the Year (2008), Florida All-State Softball (2008), and DeLand High School Athlete of the Year (2008). Mollie was also the Florida State Champion bowler in 2007. She received an athletic/academic scholarship to the University of West Florida, where she pitched softball.

She received her Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2016 and followed with an engineering career starting in 2017 under the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing, Eglin Air Force Base Florida, where Mollie was a highly recognized and valuable team member.

Mollie loved the outdoors and traveling, a few of her favorites were boating, kayaking, and biking on the Florida Gulf Coast; snow skiing in Aspen, Breckenridge, and Snowmass Colorado; hiking in the Smoky Mountains; Disneyworld; and vacationing in Santa Monica, Chicago, and New York City.

Mollie will be remembered for all the love, heart, and smiles she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each of us. She will be missed dearly.
