Nancy Carole Baldwin passed away on May, 11, 2025 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. She was born on May 23, 1947 in Arlington, Virginia to Frank and June Swart. Nancy was dedicated to her education, earning her Masters degrees in both Computer Science and Business Management from Troy University.
Nancy loved to play golf and watch the Washington Redskins play football. She worked for Chesepeak Patomic Telephone Co. (Bell) from 1967 to 1972 as a 1st Line Supervisor. She then moved to Niceville, Florida in 1972 and worked for Centel as a 2nd Line Supervisor over engineering for 25 years until she retired. She also worked for the Niceville Police Department as a dispatcher until she left to care for her elderly mother. She later helped to care for her mother-in-law until she passed. She was a member of Crosspoint Church in Niceville.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Daniel Swart and June Yeakle Swart. She is lovingly survived by her husband of 58 years, Howard Baldwin, of Niceville, Florida; sister Dana Williams of Destin, Florida; nephews Daniel Williams of Radford, Virginia and Cody Williams of Canada; brother-in-law Rodney O. Holston and his wife Rebecca of Mossy Head, Florida, as well as multiple cousins and many friends.
Services will take place at Crosspoint Church in Niceville at a later date.
