Nancy Schweitzer-Morris

Nancy Schweitzer-Morris, 87, of Niceville, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Nancy was born on December 2, 1937, to Inez and Gus Schweitzer in LaPlace, Louisiana. She spent her life educating others as a high school and piano teacher and as a soccer coach. She also enjoyed painting and singing in the choir. She was in the Northwest Florida Symphony Chorus, was a past president of the American Association of University Women, Who's Who of American Women (2003-2004), Louisiana State Outstanding Biology Teacher (1974), and won Distinguished Science Teacher of Louisiana Academy of Science. 

Nancy is preceded in death by James Phillip Schweitzer and survived by her two sons, Merlin and Ricky Schweitzer. 

The funeral service will be at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. with a visitation with family and friends an hour prior.
