Nathan Wright Obituary

Nathan Allen Wright born February 25th, 1961, put his trust and his soul into the loving hands of his savior, Jesus Christ and joined his family and friends that preceded him in death on September 7, 2021.

He built a beautiful and blessed life with his wife of almost 40 years, Maxie Wright. He felt his true riches could be found within his relationship with his daughter, Bethney Wright Sikes and his son, Jared Nathan Wright. His son-in-law, John and daughter-in-law, Jennifer fell under his acknowledged blessings.

His legacy will live on through his perfect grandkids.  Justice Nathan Wright (Katelyn), Brooklyn George Barrett, Rowdy Kent Wright, Ridge Nathan Wright. Beloved cats included Bossy and Meanie.

His parents include Father: Donnie Orin Wright (living), mother: Rebecca Gilmer (preceded in death), and also a very special stepmom: Shirley Wright and Sallie Nichols. He has one brother Roderick Wright (Jennifer). He also has several special cousins that he chose to spend his time with.

Nathan was one and a half years away from retirement. He worked 40 years through Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 52, Montgomery, AL as a Journeyman Pipe Welder and also was a member of the National United Association. He was a proud American worker and promoted buying American made products.

Nathan fostered the love of deer hunting, fishing and vintage cars with his kids and grandkids. When each "season" comes, and we carry on his legacy we will miss him terribly but know that we will see him again.

Nathan was an avid cat lover and would often slam on breaks and admire a beautiful cat. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Southern Souls Animal League in Eufaula, AL.
