Norman Lestly Butler died on March 15, 2025. He was one day from his 92nd birthday. Born March 16, 1933 in Richmond, Virginia. He died at his home in Crestview Florida, just where he wanted to be. He is preceded in death by his parents John L. Butler Sr. and Mary Virginia Fones. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Atsuko; his daughters, Deborah and Kikky; his sons, Norman Jr. and Billey; as well as 4 grandchildren. Norman proudly served in the Air Force for 22 years. He was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and was known for owning many cars and motorcycles. His love for flying started in the military and continued with getting his pilot’s license which led to owning several different planes. Many thanks to great friends and neighbors who gave support and kindness during his last days.
Norman requested no services. There will be a private service at the graveside.
