O. David Lavoie Obituary
Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to O. David Lavoie. On November 15, 2025, at the age of 89, he was invited to join the "Heavenly Golf Gaggle". He loved golfing, solving problems, teaching, traveling, and spending time with his family.
He was instrumental in developing, testing, and manufacturing many of the current Air Force inventory weapons.
He was an Adjunct Professor for 25 years at Troy University School of Business.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Jean; children, Sharon Trair, David Lavoie, Michael Lavoie, and Andrea Maillet; stepchildren, Mark Bordwell and Pamela Bordwell; and numerous (36) grand, great grand, and great great grand Children.
He especially cherished the one-on-one time spent with his children.
