Pamela Mae Keeton, 67, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024, at HCA Medical Center, Fort Walton Beach, FL surrounded by family. Pam was born in Huntsville, Alabama to Raymond and Juanita Talley.
She was predeceased by her father and mother. She is survived by her husband, Joel Keeton Sr.; three children, Debbie (Bruce) Boling, Joel Keeton Jr. and Dennis Keeton; four grandchildren, Jessica (Cary) Meinhardt, Stephanie (Drew) Morrison, Samantha Boling and Bruce Bolling II; four great-grandchildren, Madelyn Schaefer, Colton Schaefer, Amber Meinhardt, and Dakota Meinhardt; brother, Daniel Lasater.
Pam moved to Michigan at an early age. In high school, she met her future husband, Joel. They were married and Joel joined the US Navy soon after. In their six years with the Navy, they were stationed in Illinois, Connecticut, Holy Loch Scotland, and South Carolina before settling down in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Over the years Pam had various jobs in the food industry and customer service, but for the last many years, she dedicated herself to being a wife, mother, Nana, and friend. She enjoyed ceramics, was active in the local darts league as Special Events Coordinator, securing a good deal of donations for charity. In 2001, Pam accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and for many years was a faithful member of Faith Independent Baptist Church in Niceville, FL.
