Patti Gonzo, born November 6, 1936, in Appleton, WI, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, at the age of 88. Patti was the beloved daughter of Waher Engfer and Cordell C. Haese.
After graduating from high school, Patti continued her education in various fields. She dedicated much of her career to serving others, most notably as the Vice President of Valparaiso Bank for 23 years, where her leadership and dedication were a cornerstone of her success. Patti also had a passion for entrepreneurship, owning Emerald Coast Seafood Market and Restaurant, Judy's Café, and a real estate business. Additionally, she spent time employed at East Pass Marina, further solidifying her strong connection to her community.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Patti had a deep love for traveling the world and cherished the time she spent with her friends. Her zest for life and her generous spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Patti was preceded in death by Jerry Gonzo; Jeff Gonzo; and Herman "Fred" Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Gonzo.
A visitation will be held at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home on March 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the Wounded Warriors Project.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
