Peter Earle Hodges

Peter E. Hodges of Niceville, Florida passed away on July 28, 2023. He was born in 1948 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey to William Guy Hodges and Natalie Camp Hodges. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Kathy W. Hodges, son Jonathan Hodges (Emily), daughter Jennifer Wilson, stepson Mike Taylor (Sara), brother Richard Hodges, and sister Joan Hodges Conjura (Tim). He was a devoted grandfather to Helena, Kendall, Harbor, Tristan, and Nora.

Peter graduated from Mountain Lakes High School in New Jersey. He received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Union College and his Masters of Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology. He had a 43-year career with AT&T and IBM where he was a consultant. He was a talented musician and played bass guitar with multiple bands through the years. He was also an avid sailor and was a member of the Birmingham Sailing and Bluewater Bay Sailing Clubs. His sense of adventure, gentle nature, and kindness towards others will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
