Rebecca J. Tislow

Rebecca Jane Adams Tislow passed away on August 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with brain cancer. Throughout her journey, Becky displayed remarkable strength and grace.

Becky was born on September 19, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas. At the age of 11, while attending a Billy Graham Crusade at Madison Square Garden, she made the life-changing decision to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her faith became the foundation of her life and a source of encouragement to family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

After graduating from high school in San Antonio, Texas, in 1964, Becky attended night school, where she met the love of her life, Terry Tislow. They married in April 1966 and shared 42 wonderful years together.

Becky was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Tislow; her parents, Marvin and Nina Adams; and her mother-in-law, Vonnie Tislow.

She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Jennings and husband Brent; her son, James Tislow and wife Jennifer; and her five cherished grandchildren, Allison Henry and husband Carson, Nicole Tislow, Alex Tislow and wife Kensie, Brooks Jennings, and Avery Jennings; and her sister, Sammy Harvey. She is also survived by a niece, two nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Becky was a devoted member of Crosspoint Church in Niceville and in Pace where she faithfully served numerous leadership roles and left a lasting impact through her kindness and generosity.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and staff of Sacred Heart Hospital, Arcadia Assisted Living, and VITAS Inpatient Hospice Care for the compassion, comfort, and dignity they provided Becky during her final weeks.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we rejoice in the promise that one day we will see her again.

Family and friends whose lives were touched by Becky are invited to attend a visitation at Crosspoint Church, 214 Partin Drive, Niceville, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. A private graveside service and burial will be held with family. Arrangements are under the care of Heritage Gardens Funeral Home.
