Richard loved his family and friends unquestionably. He always had a quick smile, a joke to tell or a country saying that you would only hear from him. He loved everything Texas and was proud to say everything was bigger and better in Texas. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and loved the Texas Longhorns, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Cowboys. Richard will be greatly missed by all. He would have said “I’m headed to the shed”, “Ta Ta for now”, or “See you in the funny pages”! As for now he’s “Gone to Texas”!
