Richard Hyatt Obituary

Richard E. Hyatt of Destin Florida 83; Son of Caswell and Bessie Hyatt born July 13, 1940 in Davidson, North Carolina passed peacefully in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on March 20, 2024.

He worked for UPS and retired in 1995. He and his wife of 35 years, Sheila Hyatt retired to Destin, Florida. Richard enjoyed playing golf, watching football, basketball, and Nascar. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and loved watching his grandchildren grow up. Richard is preceded in death by his father and mother, Bessie Hyatt, and two brothers Kenneth and Bobby Hyatt.

He is survived by his loving wife Sheila Hyatt, children Lisa (Bobby) Chamberlain of North Carolina, Tammy (Don) Coe of North Carolina, Terri (Keith) Faulkner of Alabama, Jason (Stacie) Black of Alabama, and Shelly Monsees of Florida. His grandchildren Chris, Justin, Travis, Jazmin, Bailey, Miranda, McKenzie, and Donovan.
