Richard P Sirney

Richard Paul Sirney, 87, of Crestview Fl passed away Friday March 25, 2022, at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola. He was born December 23, 1934, in Pittsburgh Pa to the late John and Olga (Kuschel) Sirney. Richard was an Army veteran, a computer engineer at the time of the first generation of ‘big iron’ digital computers, a Sunday school teacher, Scout Master, husband, and father. He married Lois R. Gangawere November 19^th, 1955, in Dunbar Pa and had 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Richard was the last member of his immediate family and is preceded in death by his wife, Lois, his brothers, John, Howard, and Robert, and his sisters, Millie, Lois, Betty, Jeanne, Charlotte, and Olga. He is survived by his sons, Richard and Robert (Sandra), daughters, Lisa (Andrew), and Linda (James), his grandchildren Rocky, Jon, Emily, Elizabeth, Nathanial, Genevieve, Johnathan, Daniel, Alex, Rebecca, and Katherine, as well as his great grandchildren, Kaylynn, Alexis, Axel, and River. Services will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery on April 13 at 2:30pm. Request donations in lieu of flowers be made to the National Kidney Foundation, or your local church in Richard’s name.
