Dick Harp, 89 of Niceville Florida, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Dick was born to George and Victoria Harp on January 23, 1935, in Utica, New York. This is where he met his wife of 67 years Patty Harp.
Dick loved baseball, golf and playing the piano for family and friends. He retired from his CEO Banking career and took his passion to help build the OLLI program for students over 50 at Kennesaw State University.
Dick is preceded in death by his Father George Harp and his Mother Victoria Harp. He’s survived by his wife Patty Harp, daughter Sharon Harp and her three children, Shirley, Jamie and Tina, daughter Joyce Harp and her son Robert, daughter Linda Harp and her three children, Christopher, Sean and Breanna, daughter Maureen Harp, son Kevin Harp and his three children Wyatt, Niko, & Lila, and his sister Evelyn. In addition, he leaves behind 2 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mass to honor and celebrate Richard Harp will be held on Wednesday, March 20th 2024, at 10am, in Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church located at 1200 Valparaiso Blvd. Niceville FL.
A reception will be held immediately following the service in the Ministry Center Reception Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Niceville Catholic Outreach (NCO) or a charity of your choice.
