Robert William Bowman

Robert W. Bowman (Bob), 89, of Destin, FL, died November 9, 2022, at The Blake in Miramar Beach. Bob was born in Brooklyn, NY to Henry Joseph Bowman and Margaret Fetter Bowman. He was a Navy Veteran. Bob worked as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Free Masons. He also created a group for widows and widowers called Friends for Fun. Bob enjoyed retirement traveling. He attended Christ our Redeemer Catholic Church since 1987. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 50 years, Joan Bowman. He is survived by his partner, Joan Salazar; his daughter, Mary Ann Lynn and his son, Edward Bowman; his granddaughters, Megan Wyrick and Madalyn Chavez; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass will be held Monday, December 12th, 9:00 AM, at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Church in Niceville, Florida. Interment will follow at Heritage Gardens Cemetery. Donations may be made to American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
