Robert John Cross, Jr

Robert "Bob" John Cross, Jr., 63, of Crestview, FL, passed peacefully on August 18, 2020.

Bob was born on July 9, 1957 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Several years after his graduation from Burncoat Senior High, Bob joined the United States Air Force. After a 20 year distinguished career as an Electrician Technician, Bob retired from Active Duty as a Tech Sergeant only to resume his career as a civil service employee for 15 more years for companies such as Lockheed Martin.

After retirement, Bob spent much of his time enjoying Sundays at The Red Bar, traveling to music festivals and spending nearly every minute with his beloved daughter and her family at their farm. Not only did Bob radiate positivity and happiness everywhere that he went; but, he was the kindest and most compassionate person you'd ever meet.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert John Cross, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Cross.

He leaves behind his most cherished possessions - his daughter, Jacqueline Jackson (Tyler); grandson, Nash; and granddaughter, Georgia. He also succeeds his former wife, Maureen Cross and many friends that he considered loved dearly.

A heartfelt Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at a later date and notification will be sent out.
