Robert Leroy Enright

Robert Leroy Enright, born April 4, 1943, in Niskayuna, New York to parents Raymond B. and Alice J (Shaw) Enright, passed away July 26, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Constance J. Enright, and son Darrell T. Enright. Robert is survived by his wife Sue A. Enright, Daughters Janey (Eileen) Parnell with husband Tim, Mellissa Blanchard with husband Rich, son Robert Enright with wife Shannon, and brother John (Basil) Enright and wife Debbie. He has 8 grandkids, 6 great grandkids, 1 niece, and 3 nephews. 

Robert graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School 1961and entered the Air Force in August 1961 where he served his country for 28 years as a Weapons Mechanic and with a Chemical Warfare unit Florida as a 462-USAFTAWC. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant and was stationed in several location to include Plattsburgh, N.Y., Japan, North Carolina, Korea, Thailand x 2, Louisiana, England, Arizona, Virginia, and Florida. Robert also attended OWJC for several classes as well as the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Academy.

After retiring from the military, Robert worked for Rocky Bayou Baptist Church as a Facility Manager for 17 years. He was also very active in his church as a Deacon, Faithful Men, Men’s Retreat Committee, Men’s Breakfast, Benevolence, and Choir. He loved bowling, running, fishing in his kayak with his fishing buddies, camping, gospel music, and Jesus. He also loved his kids, grand kids, and great grand kids.
