Ronald Alford

Ron Alford went home to the lord on May 24, 2024, with his loving family at his side. Ron was born in Defuniak Springs Florida to Norma June Day and Glenn Alford. Ron grew up in Niceville Florida where he graduated from Niceville High School in 1978. 

Ron had owned Ron Alford Drywall for many years. He was known for his meticulous eye to detail.  
  Ron loved the outdoors more than most. His children's best memories are of fishing trips. You could find him fishing, riding four wheelers through his property, riding his Harley or just riding his truck through the woods taking pictures of all the beautiful things he was seeing. 

 He loved sitting on his porch with his animals, Queen, Trip, Missy and Bug. They would take evening walks around the property together. Ron had a deep love for his pets they were his family.  

He was a man's man with a tender heart. Most people never knew what a sentimental man he was. He never threw away a birthday card, a Christmas card, he even kept precious little notes his daughter wrote as a child. Ron was always a man of his word, trustworthy and faithful to all he loved. He always worked hard and played harder. He did everything with Excellents. He was rarely on time because he was always early!  Every person he touched was undoubtedly better for having known his love and friendship. Many men could not fill his shoes.  

Ron lived his life with to the fullest. He would always say “ When I leave this place I will have lived a full life” And that he did.  

His love will never leave our hearts. 

Ron was preceded in death by his mother Norma June Hobbs and father Glen Alford. He is survived by his children, James Eric Alford, Amy Henson. Grand children Kylie & Noah. Bonus Son; Eric Rice, Hannah Rice, Grandchildren: Eric Jr, Lila, Evie, Lillie and Harley 

Sister: Cindy Alford, Brothers Gregory Alford, & Mark Alford. Many Nieces and Nephews: Melissa Lambert Johnson, Nick Lambert
