Roosevelt Pittman

Roosevelt Pittman passed peacefully on May 18, 2023 in Pensacola, Florida at 77 years old. He was born on May 20, 1945 in Ashford, Alabama to LeRoy and Dora Lee Pittman.

Roosevelt earned his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Troy State University. He retired from the United States Air Force after serving 21 years, and then retired from the State of Florida after 10 years. During his permanent retirement, Roosevelt’s focus was on doing things to make his family happy, keeping his lawn spectacular, and keeping up with his wife’s age.

He is preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Pittman, and his mother, Dora Lee Allen-Pittman. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Cleonia Lynn Pittman, his sons, Reginald Maurice and Julian Roosevelt Pittman, and his grandson, Julian Roosevelt Pittman, Jr.
