Obituary
Rosalind Jean Hummel, age 78, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023. She was born on June 14, 1945, in Ellsworth, Kansas to Lawrence Keith Hummel and Katherine Rose Warta Hummel.
Rosalind worked as a caregiver for most of her life. Her and her daughter, Catherine, took care of Rosalind’s own mother until the age of 106 ½ years. She was blessed with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Her retirement consisted of swimming, going to Biloxi every month, and just enjoying life.
Rosalind is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Keith Hummel and mother, Katherine Rose Warta-Hummel.
She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Dellaratta and Grace Dellaratta; son, Joseph Francis Dellaratta; son-in-law, Anthony Feliciano; granddaughter, Amanda Marie Feliciano; grandsons, Michael Anthony Feliciano and Joseph Michael Dellaratta.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Heritage Gardens Cemetery at 2201 North Partin Drive in Niceville.
