Sandra "Sandi" L. Drake

Sandra Lee Nelson Drake (age 76) passed away peacefully on 5 December after a courageous 8 year battle with Alzheimers.

Born in Red Wing Minnesota to a military family, Sandra traveled the world. First, with her father and later with her Husband of 57 years visiting many foreign countries such as Newfoundland, Canada; Protugal, Germany, Phillippines, Korea and Japan.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 57 years Berry and their 3 children: Kerry Dunn, Berry Drake and Margie Lummus all of Niceville. Sandra also was the loving “Nanny” of 7 grandchildern: Jessica Loveless, Megan Lummus, Chandler Drake, Michael and Daniel Dunn, Rece and Alexia Hinds. In addition Sandra also is survived by 2 great grandchildern: Penelope and Everett, Sisters Debbie Woolard of Atmore, Alabama, Sherry Henry of Pensacola and Lenny Nelson of Red Level Alabama. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

The entire Drake family wishes to extend our sincere and heart felt thank you to all the Nurses, CNAs, and other staff memebers of the Crestview Rehabilation Center for their loving care and genuine concern for Sandra’s well-being through 8 years of struggle.
