Fort Walton Beach – Sue A. Chapman, 69, of Fort Walton Beach, FL., peacefully passed away on February 14, 2025, after a complicated struggle with multiple symptoms including RSV-induced pneumonia and possible acute leukemia-related issues.
Born August 7, 1955, in Brighton, Michigan, to Thomas and Wilma West, Sue was a loving and sympathetic daughter. After graduating from high school and vocational school, she worked in medical transcription for many years in a hospital setting before moving to at-home transcription work.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband Jeffrey, her parents, Thomas and Wilma West, brothers Thomas Jr. and George, and her sister Rita. She leaves behind her brother Edgar and sister Jean, her children Angela and Jason, her son-in-law Timothy, mother-in-law Kathy Chapman, brothers- and sisters-in-law, and two generations of nieces and nephews.
Sue will be remembered on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville, Florida. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Central, and the memorial service will start at 10:00 Central. She will be interred at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
