It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear daughter, sister, and friend, Susan Kay Jones. Susan was wholeheartedly devoted to her God Jehovah, her family, and many friends. She had such a love for people, and it truly radiated out in her words and actions. She had the special ability to touch the hearts of many with the comforting words found in God’s word, the Bible. From childhood on, Susan was an exceptionally hard worker. Aside from working secularly right up until she passed, she spent countless hours doing volunteer work that included disaster assistance and building places of worship, called Kingdom Halls. She found deep satisfaction and joy teaching others the precious truths she learned from the Bible. Susan was known for being a good listener, and how to phrase words that could bring comfort and healing. Her infectious laugh and comical spirit will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Susan was generous, hospitable, and honest in her words and deeds. She loved being outdoors and observing creation, and her plants were her babies.
Susan will be deeply missed by her mother, Hilda Schuler, her siblings, Wanda Lowery, Laura (Mark) Bauer, Wendy (Ben) Mickler, Jonathan (Giovanna) Schuler, and Rachel (Billy) Goodman, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Schuler, and husband, Cecil Jones. She leaves behind a loving, spiritual family who look forward to seeing her again in the promised resurrection.
