Susan Jean Tumey

Susan (Sue) Jean Lucas Tumey passed away on Saturday April 24, 2021 in Moore, Oklahoma. She was born in Salem, Ohio on March 4, 1951. She was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Verner and Grace Ann Gibson Lucas.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Tumey. They were married on April 1, 1972 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Also surviving are her daughters: Kimberly Michelle Varney (Dane) of Niceville, Florida and Stacy Nicole Ryan (Sean) of Moore, Oklahoma. She has 4 grandchildren: Trenton Varney, Branton Varney, Jessica Ryan and Jason Ryan. She also leaves a sister, Elizabeth Ann Powers of Owensboro, Kentucky and a brother, James Keith Lucas (Cindy) of Wichita, Kansas.

Services will be on Monday May 3, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Niceville, Florida at 11 am. Visitation begins at 10 am at the church. The service will be conducted by Rev. David A. Charlton. Heritage Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Heritage Gardens Cemetery in Niceville, Florida.
