Teresa Gail Finch

     Teresa Gail Finch, age 63, passed away on May 18, 2023 in New Orleans, LA. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Roberts (Elijah), her bonus daughters, Jillian Ball (Jason) & Allyson Pritchard, her grandson Liam Ball, her granddaughters Palmer and Finley Roberts, and her Frenchie, Priscilla.  

     Teresa was a graduate of Niceville High School and went on to earn a Bachelors of Accounting at University of West Florida and an MBA at Jacksonville University. She began her 30+ year career in Panama City at HCA Gulf Coast Hospital in 1982. Teresa’s strong work ethic, leadership skills, and brilliance with numbers allowed her to do what she loved which was leading strong teams in Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, and London. While her career took off she was a devoted mother to Leslie and built relationships with countless friends across the world. Teresa’s exemplary professional career culminated with her retirement from HCA in 2020.

     Teresa lived an exciting and eventful life that always celebrated the things she loved including running, traveling, music, football, golf, Braves baseball, and bulldogs. She successfully completed the New York City Marathon, the Disney Marathon, and dozens of other running events across the country. Her love of travel took her on many adventures across 4 continents that always brought her home with an extra piece of full luggage. Seeing live music, attending sporting events, and spending time with her grandchildren were a big part of her life. In her downtime she always had her nose in a book.

     Teresa is also survived by her mother, Betty Finch, brother Steve Finch, sisters Donna Johnson and Suzanne Lyons, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Leslie Ross Finch and husband, Michael Pritchard.

Family and friends are invited to say their final goodbyes at a graveside service for Teresa at Heritage Gardens in Niceville, FL on Friday, May 26th at 10am. Attendees are asked to wear colorful clothing instead of black. Following the service, we will be celebrating Teresa at The Wharf 850 on Bayshore Drive. Family and friends are welcome to join us for appetizers and drinks.
