Terre L Carr

                                                            “The Angel that walked among us”

Terre was born in Seoul Korea on the 19th of May 1951 and a resident of Niceville, FL since 1991.  At an early age she was adopted by a wonderful set of parents Oliver and Thelma Brown of Waterford PA.  She was the third eldest of 16 adopted children. In 1977 while living in Japan David Lee (son) was born.  Then in 2000 grandson Seth and in 2002 Grandson Michael was to grace her life. In 2020 David Lee brought Angel (daughter in law) into her life. 

Terre met her husband (David) in the 9th grade.  Upon graduation they were married and started their life of adventure.  While living in Japan she learned the ikebana style of floral arranging.  In Germany she learned the European style of floral designing and overseen three German flower shops. In 1991 they moved to Niceville, Florida.  In 1993 she opened Connect With Flowers,  where she enjoyed meeting and creating life long relationships.  While being a local business owner she was a member of the ABWA, the Fort Walton Chamber of Commerce  She was one of the founders of the Emerald Coast Floral Association where she served as President.

She was also a member of the Florida State Florist Association, where she was one of six state instructors traveling throughout the state sharing her knowledge and love for flowers.
