Terry "Mike" Gunn

Terry Mike Gunn, 74 years old of Niceville, FL. passed away January 23, 2026, after a long battle with cancer.

Mike was born on October 5, 1951, in Albany, Ga. to Laura Jane and S.G. Gunn. Mike served 4 years in the Airforce, then began his career as a Calibration Tech. He then became Chief of TSC, Ft. Benning Ga, Region 2. He went on to become Deputy Director for the TMDE support Region 2 Redstone Arsenal.

Mike was known for his infectious kindness and dedication to his wife, Melaine, and to his children Hope Meier (Josh), Chris Gunn, Amber Rosamond (Bubba), and grandchildren Kameron, Madison, Gage, and Garrett, and to his siblings Rick Gunn (Cheryl), Judy Anderson, Wanda Woodard (Don), Ginger Wright (A.C.), Vickie Smith (Tommy), Liz Daniels, and Sandra Palmer (Jeff).

Mike was a mentor to many in his field and an avid Ga. Bulldog fan. His hobbies included fishing, working on home projects, traveling, and relaxing on the beach. Spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren was his passion and he cherished every moment with them. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held February 20, 2026, in Niceville, Fl.
