Therese "Ann" Gruber, having lived to the age of 91 years in excellent health, shared the love of a truly amazing husband and two loving children, passed from this life peacefully, surrounded by her family after a short illness on Saturday, July 8th.
"Tyne" as she was known to her family, was born to Dewey and Julia Arvin, and grew up in Davies Co, IN, having six siblings that she shared treasured relationships with all her life. She was married in 1951 to the love of her life, Richard "Dick" Gruber (Lt Col USAF, ret.) and their marriage of 67 years was an inspiration to all who knew them. They traveled the world enjoying the blessings we all enjoy which had been earned so gallantly by their generation. She was always an avid and talented sportswoman, golf being her favorite pastime, a passion she shared with her husband and many friends.
She is survived by sisters: Monica Shuffman of Maui, HI and "Jean" Bultman of Indianapolis, IN, son Brian L. Gruber of Valparaiso, FL, daughter Karin A. Chadwick of Niceville, FL, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Her family and friends will always remember her brilliant smile, ready wit, and unfailing devotion to all she held dear.
