Thomas “Tom” Werner (September 27, 1947 – April 4, 2026) passed away in his home, surrounded by the love of his family.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Thomas lived his life with strength, integrity, and a deep sense of care for others. He was a steadfast partner, a devoted father, grandfather, and brother, a stand-up role model, and the one you could always count on to say, “I can fix that,” no matter what. Known for his warm smile and steady presence, he was someone people naturally turned to for advice, guidance, and support.
To many, he was more than a father—he was everyone’s dad. He always made time to listen, offer wisdom, and be there when it mattered most. He was also a devoted “Pop-Pop” to his five grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.
He is survived by his beloved fiancé, Heike Wasden; his son, Robert Werner; his daughters, Beth Clavier and Tiffany Werner; his stepdaughters, Sigrid McCray and Megan Taylor; his sisters, Margaret Werner and Maureen Nasr; and three nieces.
A visitation with family will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home, 2201 Partin Drive North, Niceville, FL 32578. All are welcome to join the family following the service at Sabina’s Europa restaurant until 3pm, 4550 E. HWY 20 Suite 20, Niceville, FL. 32578
Thomas will be remembered for his kindness, his wisdom, and the lasting impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
