Vera M. Norris Hall

Vera M. Norris Hall was born July 16, 1929 near the county line between Covington and Coffee County, AL. She was the daughter of Ellis Norris and Illey Mae Strickland Norris. Just a few months before the end of WWII, in 1945, at the age of fifteen she met Bervin Hall. They married April 8, 1945. They were married for 58 years and were blessed with three children.

Mother said many times all she had ever wanted in life was her children and to be a good mother to them- You were the Best, Mom, Thank you and we love you for all you have done.

She passed August 17, 2021 at home very peacefully after a short illness at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her parents, a baby brother, her husband, Bervin, a son Johnny H. Hall. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte and her youngest sons Chris and Robert, her sister and brother in law, Vivian and Arnold Donaldson and cousins, and several nieces and nephews.
