Virginia (Ginger) Bair was born on March 7, 1944 in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Lincoln High, Grandview College and Iowa University. In 1968 Ginger met her husband Steve when he was in Des Moines on leave from the Air Force. She married Steve in 1969 and continued her life as a military wife traveling with him for 26 years to include their last assignment to Eglin AFB in 1984. Their son Jeff was born in 1971 while they were stationed in the Panama Canal Zone. Ginger and family made their home in Niceville, Fl as Steve continued working at Eglin after retiring from the USAF. Ginger was a housewife and mom most of the time and she worked occasionally outside the home over the years. Ginger dearly loved her dogs and took great care of her Shih tzus (especially Mikie and Toby) over the years. Ginger was a TV person who enjoyed all her favorite programs especially old movies. She really enjoyed having her son raise his family in Niceville and watch her grandsons grow up. Ginger loved her family and always kept up with other family members back in Iowa.
Ginger is survived by her husband (Steve), son Jeff Bair his wife Brittany and grandsons Carter and Cooper all of Niceville, Fl. Her family will honor her life at a private graveside service.
