Weston was born on February 21, 1999, in Dalton, GA and at age 6, moved to Niceville, FL, where he grew up. He left behind his broken-hearted family on July 21, 2022.
Weston is survived by his wife T. Lauren Chadwell; son, William Aidan Smith; father, L. Brian Smith; mother, Melissa Smith Cato and stepfather, Brett Cato; sister, M. Anna Smith; and stepsiblings Dakota Cato, Kyra Cato, and Aaron Cato. Weston was preceded in death by his grandmother Mona McNew, grandfather L. Ralph Smith, and grandfather Michael Susman.
In life, Weston had many accomplishments including Eagle Scout; Niceville High School graduate; ROTC graduate; and being the best husband, daddy, son, brother, friend, and man. He was enlisted in the US Airforce, being stationed at Charleston and Tinker AF Bases as a Crew Chief on C17 and AWACS Aircrafts as an Airman First Class.
Weston’s hobbies included camping, fishing, kayaking, swimming, sports, fixing cars, and he was a cigar and scotch connoisseur.
There will be a time of visitation for Weston’s family and friends on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life service with Military Honors at 2:00 pm in the same location.
