William "Bob" Robert Keller died at home with his family on December 18, 2022. He was born on November 17, 1928, in Cairo, Illinois.
Bob served as a fighter pilot in the Air Force and was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska during the Korean War. He returned to the University of Miami where he completed his degree in Business Administration.
Bob was a dedicated family man, beloved by his children, and adored by his grandchildren. He was an avid storyteller and life-long learner, and he instilled those values in his family. Dedicated and loving, he celebrated his 50-year wedding anniversary with his wife Shirley in 2002 and enjoyed 19 years of marriage to his wife Lilli.
Bob enjoyed a distinguished career as a golf professional. He was a life-long member of the PGA of America, and the head professional at two different clubs, Eglin Golf Club Niceville, Florida for 17 years and The Country Club in Pepper Pike, Ohio for 20 years. As a club professional, he played in nine major Championships and countless PGA events and was a founding member of Rocky Bayou Country Club.
He is survived by his wife Lilli, daughter Kim (husband Ed Horan), son Mike (wife Debbie Keller), his three granddaughters Casey (husband Danny Lewis), Natalie Pariano, Nicole (husband Frank Molenda), and three great-grandchildren Miesje, Monroe, and Rhett. He is also survived by Lilli’s daughter Lisa (husband Bruce Alecxih), grandchildren Annika, Alexander, Sean, and son Erich Bauermeister.
Bob Keller loved his family, golf, flying, and the Lord.
